Events & Programs
We have launched a variety of events and programs around SDG 4 and 17 that aim to build the capacity of aspiring changemakers and the broader ecosystem they inhabit.

UN World Youth Skills Day
To celebrate UN World Youth Skills Day, we partnered with KidsforSDGs to organize an event that brought together 10+ youth-led organizations and leading changemakers in Hong Kong for a day of upskilling workshops (both peer-to-peer expert-led), roundtable discussions, networking and "troubleshooting sessions" — all to share skills, best practices and develop partnerships.
ISSIA X RTT Partnership
Co-organized with Reverse the Trend, the event explored the intersection between nuclear disarmament and climate activism, highlighting the role of youth. Speakers included Dr. Sue Wareham (Medical Association for Prevention of War), Dr. Muhadi Sugiono (Universitas Gadjah Mada), and amazing youth activists in APAC.

ISSIAMUN & Debate Programs
We organized our own Model United Nations conference (ISSIAMUN), where we had two councils (ECOSOC, US Senate), introducing the topic of Black Lives Matter and the aftermath of Colonialism to 40 students from a variety of schools in Hong Kong. We also run debate program to introduce students to debate (formats, skills etc.).

Webinars & Workshops
We have held a variety of workshops, featuring speakers such as Ravindra Ngo (World Economic Forum Expert), Miss WoW and Justin Chu (sex educators), a representative from Coolminds (Mind Hong Kong X KELY Support Group) and more.

ISSIA Youth NGOs Forum
The ISSIA Youth NGOs Forum brought together 10+ youth-led NGOs for two days of panels, networking sessions and skills-based workshops, covering topics including social entrepreneurship, partnerships and event management.

Youth NGO Mentorship Program
The Youth NGO Mentorship Program aims to advance youth-led change-making in Hong Kong. We provide newly founded student organizations with ample connections, resources, and guidance to ensure sustainability and impact in their projects.
For the first round of the programme, we paired student organizations with an experienced member from the ISSIA team, helping expand their social media presence, connecting them with relevant stakeholders, and guiding them through strategic management. We were able to help 10 student organizations across 5 schools. More to come!

School Chapters
Our School Ambassador program selects and cultivates leaders in the school community. We creates opportunities for school-based programs and initiatives. It also aims to build further interconnectivity amongst our school network. So far, we have launched 10+ chapters across Hong Kong and Macau, attracting more than 100+ members.

Networking, Social & Roundtable Discussions
We regularly hold networking and social events for our members. We also hold roundtable discussions which provide an opportunity for students to discuss social and global issues in an inclusive environment.

Virtual Art Exhibition
Our virtual art exhibition featured art and photography submissions from students across Hong Kong.
